Our best guides will take you across the former royal capital, stopping off at the tombs of ancient emperors, including that of Khai Dinh on the outskirts of Hue. End your day with a private dining experience at Kim Long, where the light, elegant, and imperial dishes that define Hue are just as impressive as its secluded woodland location and regal interiors.

Head south from Ha Long Bay on the Ylang luxury cruise boat to see the splendour of Lan Ha Bay – just as easy on the eye but the crowds haven’t added it to their itineraries. Drift around its famous limestone outcrops and remote beaches and try to catch snaps of the local wildlife including seals and three species of dolphins as you head towards an authentic floating market in the fishing village of Cát Bà Island.
